Project Description
The development of novel strategies for engineering microbes to produce biofuels and bioproducts will be evaluated. Students will be able to participate in bench level research in cutting edge research to evaluate the performance of CRISPR systems in non-model microbial organisms. Qualifications
MCB.140L is suggested, or other biology laboratory experience.
Expected time commitment
For the summer, ~20-30hrs a week. Time commitment is flexible but should be discussed in advance.
