Project Description

Targeted radiotherapy holds tremendous potential for tracking and treating infections and cancers. Students who join the BioActinide Chemistry Group at LBL (http://actinide.lbl.gov/gtsc/BioAn/) work on a variety of projects, from determining the efficacy of radionuclide-based therapeutics to examining the biodistribution of metals in cell and animal models.

Qualifications

CHEM 1A, CHEM 1AL, comfortable working with animal models and radionuclides, excellent written and verbal communication skills
